Head of Product, Low Latency Group

The Head of Product is a senior role within the Low Latency Group which is part of the Data & Feeds division of LSEG. This role reports to the Low Latency Group Head and will sit on the Low Latency Leadership Team. The direct feed business includes both ultra-low latency software feed handlers and a low-latency data offering that can be deployed on client premises or accessed via a managed service.

This individual will own and execute the global, low latency direct feeds strategy to achieve significant year-over-year growth. Additionally, this role will complete the migration of clients from our legacy direct feed to RTD. The Global Head of Direct Feeds will engage the market and peers within LSEG to transform our direct feeds business into a hypergrowth pillar of our overall strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Owns the development and execution of the overall product strategy within the context of the overall group strategy.

  • Evolves the overall product strategy across historical data and direct feed products to recognize and implement material opportunities to grow the business.

  • Achievesfinancial targets, monitors performance and works closely with go-to-market team; leveraging contacts and thought leadership to assist SAM in targeting the front office.

  • Manages team of technical and business-focused product managers and participates in broader succession planning/reorganizational activities to bring LLG in alignment with LSEG.

  • Reviews and approve business cases for product enhancements, ensuring alignment to overall product roadmap and strategy.

  • Works closely with SAM including proposition sellers, account managers and customer strategy to define and execute overall go-to-market strategy.

  • Provides input to marketing tactics including thought leadership, content creation and overall thematic positioning.

  • Determines commercial strategy for Low Latency Group products consistent with LSEG commercial policy and strategic goals.

  • Drives innovation and differentiation across new and existing propositions, product lines and or services.

  • Ensures communication and cross-group collaboration including client requirement vetting and feedback gathering on new and existing propositions, products and services.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in the real-time market data feeds industry with specific expertise in low-latency feeds.

  • Proven track record of building businesses with a growth trajectory.

  • Experienced people leader, ideally with experience managing line managers.

  • Strong influencing skills - able to network effectively across the business in a variety of cultures.

  • Effective change agent with the ability to gain organisational buy-in and effectively accelerate and implement transformation plans.

  • Strong relationship management skills and stakeholder management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English, as well as report writing and presentation skills to suit all audiences.

  • Deep technical understanding of the market data landscape.

  • Strategic thinker with a strong ability to overcome obstacles, remove roadblocks and execute.

Compensation/Benefits Information (New York applicants only):

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $222,700 - $413,700. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/"bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
