Under the guidance and mentorship of experienced professionals, the New Business Development Account Representative at Airgas will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base. You'll be responsible for introducing our products to businesses, industrial and medical establishments, and individuals, with a strong focus on building lasting customer relationships.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify potential customers and generate leads.

  • Present our products to clients and tailor sales presentations to their specific needs.

  • Build rapport and address customer objections effectively.

  • Plan and organize work schedules to prospect, qualify, develop, and close new accounts.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide solutions that meet customer requirements.

  • Prepare sales proposals, quotes, and contracts.

  • Stay updated on market trends and competition to maintain a competitive edge.

  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally.

  • Maintain accurate records and submit required reports.

  • Uphold confidentiality of sensitive information.

  • Present a professional image reflective of our company values.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

    - 4+ years of successful sales experience in industrial, commercial, or educational markets.

    - Knowledge of industrial, specialty, and medical gases (preferred).

    - Proficiency in common email, spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation software.

    - Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle with insurance coverage.

    - Strong negotiation and selling skills.

    - Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.

    - Ability to adapt to different personalities and backgrounds.

    - Physical ability to perform essential job functions.

    - Flexibility to work varied hours to meet customer needs.
