The V2X Mobile Sensors (MS) program performs Operations and Maintenance (O&M) for a ship based marine mobile platform with complex multi-mission radar and communication systems which have a sophisticated command & control computing structure, along with communication interfaces and support sub-systems. These systems and the program assigned employees, which include represented members (union), are tasked to primarily operate in the Pacific Command's (PACOM) Area of Responsibility (AOR). Our program ensures the COBRA KING (CK) radar and communication systems are ready for operation 24-hours a day for 7-days a week and can support mission operations on very short notice. The Mobile Sensors Management Office (MSMO) is seeking a RF Radar System Sustainment Engineer to be the technical expert for all aspects relating to CK Radar System Sustaining Engineering requirements and other projects assigned to the benefit of the MSMO. This role will primarily work at the program office located on Patrick Space Force Base (PSFB), FL working with our program Engineer Lead, facilitating collaboration with Key Subcontractors, the Customer Team, Program and Functional Support team members, and is a direct report to the Mobile Sensors Program Manager. This position requires some travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations for an estimated annual rate of 15%. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
