THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON AWARD!!!

Description: Responsible for overall coordination, management, and execution of the HAZMAT program IAW principles, standards, and techniques of HAZMAT management. HAZMAT program shall comply with all applicable federal, DoD, state, and local regulations about environmental protection.

Education: High School Diploma or GED. Hazardous Substance Incident Response Management (HSIRM) and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) training.

Experience: Minimum of two (2) years experience within the last four (4) years in the management, administration, or operation of a hazardous materials/waste program. Experience shall include receiving, storage, distribution, handling, and disposal of a variety of materials. At least one (1) of the two (2) years of experience shall include planning, organizing, directing, operating, and evaluating a HAZMAT program for an entire command. Must have familiarity and knowledge of applicable federal, DoD, state, and local regulations about environmental protection.
