Introduction

As aData Architect, you will use cutting-edge cloud and data technologies to help global brands and federal agencies solve challenging problems through innovative technology solutions. What You'll Be Doing

  • Design and implement database schemas, tables, views, indexes, and other database objects.

  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

  • Create and maintain documentation of database structures and processes.

  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across all database systems.

  • Integrate data from various sources, including external databases and APIs.

  • Monitor and optimize database performance, including query performance tuning and index optimization.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues and provide recommendations for improvements.

  • Collaborate with data analysts, IT staff, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide database solutions.

  • Provide technical support for database-related issues and assist with user training on database functionalities.

Location and Travel Details

This is a remote position on call to the Washington D.C. office if needed.

Security Clearance and Citizenship Requirements

Must be able to obtain and/or maintain Public Trust Clearance.

Required For This Opportunity

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in the area of database management.

  • Critical understanding of data warehousing and relational database concepts.

  • Experience with Oracle Golden Gate, SAP BusinessObjects 4.2, and Microsoft PowerBI.

Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience with Red Hat Linux and Oracle 11G database.

  • Experience implementing mobile components.

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Machine Learning, Azure Data Factory, Databricks.

  • Experience supporting multiple new product and enhancement releases.

  • Relevant certification is preferred.
