TMC, a LinQuest company is seeking a SATCOM Systems Maintainer/Integrator to join our team at our office in Colorado Springs, CO. The ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret DoD security clearance with SCI eligibility

The SATCOM Systems Maintainer/Integrator prepares, develops, and implements hardware and software-based systems support to integration, and development tests. This position will perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance tasks to ensure the operational readiness of SATCOM systems. Installs, configures, and tests SATCOM hardware and software components. This position will collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement SATCOM solutions that meet customer requirements and specifications. The SATCOM Systems Maintainer/Integrator I will provide input and support to provide briefings on the status of events or portions of the overall program.

Responsibilities:



  • Installs, configures, and tests SATCOM hardware and software components.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement SATCOM solutions that meet customer requirements and specifications.
  • Provide input and support to provide briefings on the status of events or portions of the overall program.
  • Provide on-site high-level expertise on SATCOM systems.
  • Integrate program-specific hardware and software into systems for specific configurations to support test and exercise events
  • Prepare documentation to substantiate the integration of all aspects of the project.
  • Provide input to the project leader and the program manager on which an analysis of the technologies is made.
  • Provide expertise on maintenance activities or system upgrades
  • Support development, prototyping and demonstration of various sites and travels and provides briefings on the status of events or portions of the overall program.
  • Perform routine, non-routine, and complex maintenance on the following sub-systems: communications, networking, antenna, power, timing, signal distribution, trucks, trailers, environmental control, and support equipment.
  • Develop troubleshooting procedures and work-around documents
  • Apply advanced technical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve complex SATCOM problems.
  • Use a wide range of test instruments and equipment to restore systems or improve performance.
  • Document and report system status and fix actions.
  • Deploy SATCOM systems to support training exercises and contingency deployments in CONUS and OCONUS locations.
  • Implement and ensure adherence to operations, maintenance and organizational procedures and policies.
  • Work with the team to author, review, edit, and recommend changes to technical, procedural, and training documentation.
  • Account for and ensure positive control of critical resources.
  • Adhere to personnel safety by identifying risks, mitigating risks and intervenes to prevent mishaps.
  • Support testing, operations, maintenance, logistics, integration, and installation.
  • System and network administration to systems.
  • Provide on-site support as a Field Services Representative (FSR) for geolocation systems and equipment.
  • Provide technical assistance to daily operations, system upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
  • Coordinate with other FSRs, test engineers, and software development teams to resolve operational and/or technical systems issues.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience



  • 4+ year related experience required, including other SATCOM, and/or military Systems
  • 4+ years of experience in SATCOM maintenance and integration roles

  • BS or BS/BA in a technical field degree or vocational training in Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field or equivalent experience. Military experience can be considered in place of education



  • Knowledge of desktop applications such as word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.


  • Possess or able to obtain a United States Passport
  • Have and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Must obtain and maintain Security + CE certification within 6 months of hire
  • Possess or able to obtain a United States Passport.

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Geolocation experience.
  • Experience operating or maintaining Electronic or Electromagnetic Warfare systems.
  • Experience with multi-frequency band (C, Ku, Ka, and X Bands) satellite terminals.
  • Computer system/network administration or maintenance experience.
  • Systems Engineering and Linux experience preferred.
  • Active Security+ Certification.


Compensation: The salary for this position ranges from approximately $59,000 to $83,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
