What The Role Is

The CRA Support Representative is responsible for assisting the CRA Officer in documentation, tracking, and analysis of lending data, investments, and service activities for the Bank consistent with the requirements of the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA).

How You Will Make An Impact



  • Assist CRA Officer in building an annual CRA strategy through the preparation of performance context, benchmarks, and regular progress reports for assigned assessment areas each year. Gather data and generate compelling documentation regarding community needs and bank responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with assessment areas to identify non profit partner organizations for grant opportunities and funding distribution. Manage the grant application process, including CRA eligibility and documentation.
  • Manage the reporting of CRA activities for assigned geographies, ensure data integrity and assign appropriate documentation/rationale for CRA eligibility in a timely manner.
  • Monitor market performance against CRA benchmarks for assigned geographies and provide support to market teammates through education and identification of new opportunities.
  • Identify training needs to ensure that teammates are equipped to determine community development applicability.
  • Assist the CRA Officer in the development of CRA training materials and the delivery of CRA training within assigned assessment areas.
  • Collaborate with assessment areas and other internal departments to support special initiatives, events, and programming, including down payment assistance programs, financial education campaigns, and Federal Home Loan Bank grant opportunities.
  • Coordinate the collection and organization of information, materials and other data for regulatory examinations, as requested by the CRA Officer.
  • Support, as needed, with various projects affecting the bank's CRA programs.


Who You Are

Required:



  • Excellent project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Minimum 3 years experience working in a financial institution or nonprofit role; experience in a community reinvestment or compliance function preferred.
  • Working knowledge of presentation software and spreadsheets.
  • Ability and strong desire to interact with internal and external partners on a daily basis.
  • Excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to work with various strategic partners and stakeholders.
  • Capable of functioning in a team environment while executing individual responsibilities.
  • Ability to travel regionally on a regular basis and work after hours and on weekends when necessary.


Preferred:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of Community Relations and Corporate Citizenship desired.
  • Specialized experience in providing project coordination and community development activities to ensure compliance with CRA desired.
  • Familiarity with google suite.
