Job Description: The Northglenn FSED fosters a collaborative environment where you can thrive, enjoy your work, and support your team. The Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) Lead at this facility plays a unique and specialized role, serving as the subject matter expert for the freestanding lab. The MLS Lead oversees Point-of-Care (POC) testing and waived and moderate complexity tests while also being responsible for scheduling, training, annual competencies, and regulatory paperwork. At the FSED, all lab techs work to the full extent of their scope and assist in the emergency department whenever possible. Their responsibilities include but are not limited to, phlebotomy, IV placement, EKGs, rooming patients, and other tasks essential for ensuring the smooth operation of the ED.Job Specifics:
