Job Description: The Certified Nurse Assistant functions as a clinical support partner to assist the patient care team by performing various tasks and procedures as instructed by a licensed professional.For external hires only: To show our commitment to your transition into our Medical Oncology Department at St. James Healthcare, we are offering a $2000 sign on bonus. Shift Details: Unit Information 5thfloor is a combined medical/surgical and pediatric floor with 26 beds. We care for many types of surgeries including joint replacements, hip fractures, colectomies, and hysterectomies. We also care for medical observation patients including chest pain, heart cath patients, TIAs and many more illnesses. Pediatric patients that you may see on our unit include bronchiolitis, pneumonia, dehydration appendicitis etc.. It is a great unit for learning, obtaining and perfecting skills.
