Billing Representative -LAB -Days

Position Highlights:

• Elmhurst Hospital 155 E. Brush Hill Road Elmhurst, IL.
• Part-time 0.5 FTE
• Hours: 8am- 4:30pm Monday-Friday

What you will do: Processes laboratory billing for patients and clients adhering to procedures and compliance policies. Provides customer service for billing inquiries. Participates in QA projects and EOC surveys.

What you will need:

• High School Diploma or higher degree
• Computer entry skills. Knowledge of office procedures. Knowledge of medical terminology. Previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  

Preferred:

• Minimum of one year of previous experience with reference lab billing and knowledge of insurance plans. Prior laboratory experience. Previous experience with Epic work queues. General knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding
