Position Highlights: Sign on bonus: (if applicable) Position: Location: [City, IL] Full Time/Part Time: [Full Time / Part Time] Hours: Monday-Friday, [hours and flexible work schedules] Required Travel: A Brief Overview: Plans, performs and documents procedures associated with the provision of respiratory care. What you will do: Demonstrates a commitment to the mission of Swedish Hospital and demonstrates a service orientation and adheres to all responsibilities and standards of the Hospital. Conducts respiratory care assessment of the patient, creates a plan of action based on approved guidelines and/or protocols, communicates with the appropriate nurse and physician and then implements a respiration care program for the patient. Documents all respiratory care related procedures in a concise and complete manner. Assembles, installs, maintains and adjusts ventilatory equipment based on patient status. Participates in invasive and non-invasive cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures. Participates as a member of the Code Blue Team. Other Functions Completes other related assignments as directed by department management.
