Endeavor Health seeks an exceptional full-time board certified/board eligible Pediatrician to provide general pediatric care at our Swedish location in Chicago, IL.

Advocate Children's Hospital and pediatrics at NorthShore University HealthSystem are partnering to build an integrated and comprehensive system of pediatric experts-from primary care to highly specialized care, as well as expertise in maternal and fetal medicine.

Our goal-to support patients' and families' needs for the highest level of pediatric care with easier access to pediatricians and pediatric specialists at a lower cost.

  • o achieve Population Health and VBC goals
  • Participate in the primary care focused ACO Leakage Workgroup; Coordinate ACO leakage activities
  • Perform the role of the primary physician link between Population Health and VBC initiatives
  • Develop and drive VBC strategies focused on: Network loyalty/catchment, Care Model Optimization, Care Standardization, and Utilization Management
  • Work in conjunction with CQTO, IPA Medical Director and MD Leadership to develop, implement and manage Physician VBC reporting, Tiering Methodology, and Academic Detailing
  • Participate in the development of High Performing Network Criteria, Timing/Plan and Management
  • As necessary, in partnership with Quality, determine quality measures based on external benchmarks and internal efforts
  • 20% Medical Group Practicing Physician
  • Maintains department records, reports, and files as required.
  • Attend departmental meetings as required.
  • Enhances professional development through participation in educational programs, current literature reviews, in-services, meetings, and workshops.
  • Promotes the goals, expectations, and policies of the department and organization and represents the department in appropriate clinical and administrative meetings. Demonstrating this ability and achieving a win / win solution while insuring HIT goals and strategies is a requirement.
  • Carry a pager at all times unless alternative coverage is arranged.
  • Work evenings, nights and weekends as required by specific project activity.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • A high level of integrity and trust.
  • Knowledge of hardware and software products and applications related to role
  • Handles staff and situations in a calm, courteous, equitable manner.
  • Enforces corporate, hospital, and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Suggests new or better ways of accomplishing best practices for HIT.
  • Adheres to NorthShore and HIT policies and procedures


What you will need:

  • MD Required
  • Practicing physician with 5+ years experience in areas of: EMR optimization, clinical informatics and Total Population Health
  • Demonstrated ability in representing the HIT department, its strategies and policies in appropriate administrative and clinical meetings.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills and the expertise to translate clinical and technical terminology into terms understandable by management, department heads and performance level personnel.
  • An understanding of the healthcare applications suite and their place in the acute care, physician, ambulatory and ancillary settings.
