Job Description: The Surgical Technologist performs various duties as a member of the surgical team to ensure a safe and successful operative procedure. This position functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and directly reports to Surgical Services management.It is expected that the Surgical Technologist will support system wide and surgical operations initiatives and practices. In addition, this person will actively participate in the surgical operations safety plan as outlined. About Cassia Regional Hospital Cassia Regional Hospital is a critical access hospital (CAH) provider, and your nonprofit community hospital in Burley, Idaho. We are passionate about delivering the highest quality care with unmatched compassion, outstanding service and innovative technology. About the Operating Room We have four (4) operating rooms at our hospital performing a variety of cases such as: General Surgery, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Spine, Endoscopy, Robotics and beginning this fall, Urology. Shifts and Scheduling The schedule for Surgical Technologist is 6:30AM - 3PM, Monday-Friday, with after-hours call one night/week (3PM - 6:30AM). One weekend, Friday - Monday. Holiday call is 1 time per year. More details about the shift and scheduling will be discussed in the interview. The Surgical Technologist has a pathway opportunity identified for advancement to Surgical Technologist levels II or III. Job Essentials
