RN - PEDS PICU - Per Diem - Nights

Position Highlights:

• Edward Hospital, Naperville, IL

• Per Diem Schedule various shifts as needed; Minimum of 1 weekend shift per pay period; One summer, one winter and one peak holiday

• Hours: NIGHTS 7pm-7:30am

What you will do: Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care. Employing critical thinking skills, assesses patients' condition, recognizes deviations, plans and evaluates care. Monitors patients' progress and records pertinent observations. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.

What you will need:

• Illinois Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license

• Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association (BLS Provider or BLS Instructor)

• Minimum one year PICU RN experience

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing

• Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within three months of start date into position

• If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date (effective September 1, 2021)
