Job Summary:
The Department of Radiology, University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health is seeking a full-time radiologist, interested in pursuing an academic career in Interventional Radiology at the rank of Assistant, Associate or full Professor on the CT (Clinician Teacher) Track or CHS (Clinical Health Sciences) Track. Responsibilities: The duties for this position will be in the Interventional Imaging Section and include performing diagnostic angiography, vascular interventional, non-vascular interventional procedures (such as abscess drainage, biliary drainage, percutaneous nephrostomy, pancreatic pseudocyst drainage, embolization's, and biopsy procedures under fluoroscopy, ultrasound, or CT guidance). Clinical research and teaching are required, based on CT or CHS Track requirements. Departmental teaching assignments include medical students, residents, fellows and other department trainees as appropriate. Education: Required Qualifications: Board certified or board eligible for dual certification in diagnostic radiology and interventional radiology. WI Medical license eligible. Fellowship training in interventional radiology or Integrated/Independent Interventional Radiology training is preferred.
