Assistant Vice President Internal Communications Operations and Integration

  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 5pm
  • Required Travel: Job will require some travel to health system sites

Job Summary:

As the Associate Vice President of Internal Communications Operations and Integration, you will work to facilitate effective and focused communication channels directed at the 28,000 team members and 6,000 physicians of Endeavor Health. You will oversee the development and execution of data-driven strategies and tactics designed to build internal understanding of the organization's mission, vision, values, brand, strategy, policies and expectations. This position will actively drive team member engagement efforts and company-wide integration using existing and emerging technologies and mechanisms that scale.

What you will do:

  • Establish an internal communications strategy to promote Endeavor Health to team members.
  • Partner with the IT and HR teams to establish, build and maintain an infrastructure used to communicate to team members and physicians across the health system's nine hospitals and over 300 ambulatory facilities.
  • Facilitate the integration of company-wide messaging, communication strategies and vehicles targeted at physicians and team members.
  • Ensure and deliver consistent messaging in alignment with the organization's mission, vision, values and brand standards.
  • Partner with the HR team and the Marketing team to develop processes for building content for the organization's communications vehicles and resources.
  • Contribute to the establishment of the health system's internal portal as a source of truth for information targeted at people managers, team members and physicians.
  • Establish and track metrics that derive insights and recommendations from ongoing monitoring of analytics, creation of metrics-driven reports to correlate internal communication strategies to team member and physician productivity and organization performance.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, developments and best practices in team member communications tools and infrastructure.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues across the enterprise; serve as a trusted advisor
  • Manage, mentor and develop a high-performing team of communications professionals; recruit new members to the team, as needed

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Human Resources or related field.
  • Certification: N/A
  • Experience: Seven (7) or more years of communications experience, preferably to internal audiences.
  • Unique or Preferred Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Process-oriented with an ability to project manage - take ideas from inception through delivery
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Demonstrated experience of innovative thinking and creativity
  • Familiarity with systems and tools used to communicate internally across a broad enterprise
  • Experience in a matrix environment with a proven track record in communication
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships across the organization
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
