Job Summary:
The University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine seeks applications for BC/BE cardiologist to join a dynamic academic program, with opportunities to create a unique clinical practice and engage in teaching and clinical research at a world-class university. Responsibilities: For appointments hired as Clinical Assistant, Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor: Position responsibilities for patient care at UW Health locations, includes inpatient cardiovascular medicine service and night call; outpatient cardiovascular services including clinic coverage at Madison based clinics as well as regional sites based on the needs of the division; diagnostic cardiovascular testing, including but limited to, electrocardiograms, ambulatory monitors, transthoracic echocardiography, and a variety of modalities of stress testing and non-invasive imaging. Responsibilities will also include providing clinical teaching of medical students, residents and fellows. Additionally, the candidate will be BC/BE in internal medicine and cardiology; have training in nuclear cardiology and echocardiography, a strong clinical background with demonstrated excellence in patient care and teaching, and a commitment to scholarly achievement.
