Surgical Technologist Certified - Weekender

Position Highlights:

• Sign on bonus: $10,000 (2 years of prior CST experience required for sign-on bonus)
• Position: Certified Surgical Tech - Weekender
• Location: Edward Hospital - Naperville, IL
• Full Time (.9 FTE, 72 hours/pay period)
• Hours: Friday-Sunday, 6:30am-7:00pm, weekender position (must work 8 out of 10 weekends to qualify for the extra weekender differential). On-call shifts also required.

What you will need:

• Must be a graduate from an accredited Certified Surgical Technician program or equivalent
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• National certification through the Association of Surgical Technologists is required. If applicant does not possess certification at time of hire, must obtain it within 18 months of hire date.
• Previous OR/CST experience is preferred but not required.

What you will do:

• Under general supervision, acts as a surgical scrub person by performing any combination of tasks before, during and after surgery to assist the surgical team.
