Supervisor, Clinical Operations

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Supervisor, Clinic Operations

  • Location: Swedish Hospital (Chicago, IL)

  • Full Time/Part Time: Full Time

  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

  • Required Travel: travel to other Endeavor Health locations may be required

What you will do:

  • Organizes and oversees clinical support staff in the delivery of outpatient patient care services

  • Coordinates staff schedules and hours including PTO approval and facility coverage

  • Work with providers regarding their clinic schedules - maintaining efficient scheduling patters to meet the needs of the providers and their patients; review schedules regularly cancels clinics and ensures all patients are contacted and rescheduled

  • Responsible for first line financial management of clinic and multiple cost centers

  • Participates in the development and implementation of operational and clinical policies and procedures

  • Responsible for the facility management activities such as monitoring and overseeing the upkeep and maintenance of the clinical area and equipment in a manner consistent with the highest standard of safety, sanitation, efficiency and appearance

What you will need:

  • Education: Associate's degree in business, preferred

  • Certification: n/a

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a healthcare setting. Supervisory experience, preferred

  • Unique or Preferred Skills:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Strong ability to manage ambiguity

    • Flexible leader that can respond to changing department priorities

    • Independent problem solver
