A Brief Overview:

NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore), the principal teaching affiliate of the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, seeks an exceptional full-time Interventional Radiologist (IR) to join an expanding Radiology Department.

The IR section is a well-respected clinical service. It is part of a highly subspecialized Radiology Department at NorthShore consisting of 50+ Radiologists including 6 fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologists and 4 Interventional Radiology PA's.

What you will do:

  • Participation in outpatient clinics and inpatient consultation services is also expected .
  • Outstanding communication skills and technical skills

What you will need:

  • Il Medical License or pending in good standing
  • Board-certified/CAQ'd in Interventional Radiology (IR/DR diplomat
  • Post fellowship experience in peripheral and visceral arterial disease treatment and management, vertebral augmentation, hepatobiliary interventions,Interventional Oncology and solid organ embolization are suggested. However, candidates from strong clinical focused training programs will be considered. IR works closely with multiple service lines providing IO, PAD and PE care
