Team Member Engagement Specialist

The Team Member Engagement Specialist will support the System Manager, Team Member Engagement in the development, implementation, and management of initiatives that enhance employee engagement and recognition across Endeavor Health. This role is crucial in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring the effective execution of engagement strategies, with a focus on flexibility in designing and delivering solutions that meet the needs of our system.

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Team Member Engagement Specialist

  • Location: Skokie, IL

  • Full Time/Part Time: Full Time

  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

  • Required Travel: travel to other Endeavor Health locations may be required

What you will do:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of system engagement and recognition programs.

  • Support the execution of project plans and timelines to ensure the successful roll-out of engagement initiatives.

  • Help monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of engagement and recognition programs, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.

  • Conduct surveys, listening sessions, and additional initiatives to gather employee feedback and measure engagement levels.

  • Assist in the analysis of engagement data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  • Support the development and promotion of initiatives that foster a positive workplace environment.

  • Assist in managing a comprehensive recognition program that celebrates team member achievements and milestones.

  • Help coordinate the development of awards, recognition events, and other initiatives to honor outstanding performance and contributions.

  • Assist in managing relationships with external vendors providing engagement and recognition services.

  • Serve as a point of contact for team member inquiries related to engagement and recognition programs.

  • Work closely with HR and Marketing team to deliver consistent messaging in alignment with the organization's mission, vision, and values.

  • Assist in creating reports and dashboards that communicate program outcomes and progress to stakeholders.

  • Support the creation of materials that effectively communicate the story, highlight engagement and recognition efforts, and the impact of our workplace culture.

  • Conduct analysis on support content and guidance materials to ensure seamless access for team members.

  • Develop and update resources that provide clear and accessible information to support engagement and recognition initiatives.

  • Provide training and support to Endeavor Health team members and leaders on the use of engagement and recognition tools.

  • Attend meetings to assist in the planning and organization of events, ensuring effective coordination and execution.

  • Design and deliver flexible solutions that support continuous improvement efforts by identifying and implementing process enhancements.

  • Provide support to leaders for recognition initiatives, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to effectively recognize their teams.

  • Assist with invoicing and processing payments to vendors, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field required. Master's degree, preferred.

  • Certification: n/a

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in employee engagement, recognition programs, or a related area.

  • Unique or Preferred Skills:

    • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.

    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

    • Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and needs.

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

    • Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills, ability to balance priorities and projects across multiple deadlines

    • Demonstrated experience of innovative thinking and creativity

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
