Group Aquatic Instructor - Hourly

Position Highlights:

• Group Aquatic Instructor
• Location: Swedish Hospital - Chicago, IL
• Hourly, 8 hours a week

What you will need:

• CPR/AED Certified (must be certified within the first 90 days of employment if not currently certified.)
• MUST be able to obtain current American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification within first 90 days of employment.

General Summary:

To provide swimming instruction to groups of members and guests

It is important that Group Swim Instructors have strong interpersonal communication skills and are able to motivate and give direction. Group Swim Instructors should be friendly, helpful and have the ability to relate well with people of all ages and ethnic backgrounds. A previous swimming background is essential and prior experience in swim instruction is preferred. Group Swim Instructors must be able to demonstrate technical proficiency in the front and back crawl and the breaststroke.
