Job Description

Capital Region Medical Center has an opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner SC or Physician Assistant SC to join our OBGYN staff. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of autonomy and expert skills in the diagnosis and treatment of actual and potential health problems.

Highlights:
* Clinical responsibilities will be a combination of outpatient and inpatient care of patients. Duties would include evaluating patients, ordering tests, reviewing treatment plans, ordering therapies, communication among medical teams, and completing documentation.
* Access to 160+ providers in the Capital Region Physician network as well as referrals to University of Missouri Healthcare Specialists

Capital Region Medical Center is a full-service health care system that encompasses a full-service acute care hospital, the area's most expansive clinic system, a state-of-the-art Cancer Program at the Goldschmidt Cancer Center, a hospital-based fitness facility, home health agency and the only hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation center in the community. The hospital has 100 acute care beds and 14 rehabilitation beds. Referrals come from our 160+ employed providers who staff a system of 36 clinics in an 8-county service area of 225K people.

Minimum Qualifications

Nurse Practitioner SC
Master of Science in Nursing degree.
Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days.
Must be granted a "Document of Recognition" from the Missouri Board of Nursing.

Physician Assistant SC
Physicians Assistant (PA) licensure by the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts.

Preferred Qualifications

Nurse Practitioner SC

Possess a specialty certificate by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB), the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), the Pediatric Certification Nursing Board (PCNB), or the National Certification Corporation (NCC). Niche Interest Areas: Additional Training

Physician Assistant SC

Specialty certificate by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Nephrology, Orthopaedic Surgery, Pediatrics, or Psychiatry.
Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Hiring Range: $103,000- $118,768 (YEARLY)
Grade: PAT-012
