The College of Veterinary Medicine at MU is on a mission to inclusively educate and train outstanding clinicians and scientists from diverse backgrounds, generate new knowledge, engage stakeholders, and foster economic growth, all of which promote and protect the health and welfare of animals and people. Simply put, our mission is to Teach, Heal, Discover, and Serve. Veterinarians throughout the Midwest refer animal clients to the Veterinary Health Center for specialized diagnoses and treatment. With sophisticated therapeutic equipment that includes an underwater treadmill, advanced imaging techniques, and groundbreaking equine lameness diagnostic equipment, we are a center for animal healthcare. The Veterinary Health Center is currently hiring Registered Veterinary Technicians for multiple small animal service lines. Our technicians have the opportunity to work collaboratively with some of the top clinicians, registered veterinary technicians, and veterinary assistants in Missouri, the United States, and the world. Our technicians impact the quality of life for our patients as well as their owners and families. We are seeking energetic, caring, empathetic, and driven individuals who seek an environment that fosters continuous learning and professional development as well as top notch service delivery. We currently have openings in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care (ICU and Emergency Service), Neurology, Orthopedic Surgery and Ophthalmology. Primary responsibilities for Veterinary Technicians may include:
Shift
Shifts can vary depending on the service line. Most service lines operate Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. Shifts in Small Animal Critical Care (ER and ICU) include nights, overnights, and weekends. Shift preferences will be discussed during interview process. Minimum Qualifications

Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: hiring range begins at $19.00 per hour for new graduates without a license and $20.00 per hour for those with a license. We offer a hiring incentive of up to $1,000.00 for qualified individuals. Shift differential is available on some evening and overnight shifts. Community Information
