The department of Pediatrics Job Description
Assist faculty members in all aspects of the mechanics, details and regulations of submitting grant proposals. Provide faculty members with additional information and support needed to submit highly professional proposals in a timely manner. Facilitate meeting all internal requirement for grant submission. This involves preparing/compiling documents (including budgets), completion of internal forms, confirmation of Conflict of Interest training, and obtaining required approvals and signatures. Assist and advise faculty members in the mechanical preparation and assembly of both internal and external grant proposals. Assist faculty with just-in-time requests and annual process reports providing necessary documentation and budgets in electronic format. Maintain up-to-date familiarity with and accessibility to web-based information, grant application materials, guidelines and crucial publications from granting agencies. In addition, creating a centralized repository for pre-award knowledge. Work closely with SPA to ensure new awards and incremental funding are processed correctly and in a timely manner. Provide subcontract institutions the necessary information for submitting paperwork and additional instruction as needed. Shift
8am - 5pm Monday - Friday Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Anticipated Hiring Range
