Requisition ID req29695 Working Title Medical Assistant Position Grade 08 Position Summary The Center of Occupational Environmental Health Promotions, within the Department of Internal Medicine, is seeking a Medical Assistant to work in an outpatient clinic setting providing professional medical services and patient care. Follows established processes, including patient assessment, and triage. This position will also require working the clinic front desk, patient registration, working with the New Mexico Risk Management Division on worker comp referrals and working the administrative staff performing back office duties. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED; Medical Assistant certificate or currently enrolled in a medical, nursing or pharmacy program or at least 1 year of experience in a medical field. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications
