Requisition ID req30432 Working Title Research Scientist 3 Position Grade 13 Position Summary The Division of Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Preventive Medicine (EBPM), within the Department of Internal Medicine, is seeking a Research Scientist 3 to support research data collection, management, and statistical analysis. The successful candidate will have an MS or PhD in Statistics or a closely related field and at least one year of experience working as a statistical programmer/analyst. We are seeking expertise in data management techniques and report generation, preferably in a data coordinating center or clinical research organization. Familiarity with REDCap database and demonstrated experience using statistical software, including SAS, is required. Experience using multiple statistical methods used in clinical and public health research including regression methods (e.g., longitudinal data analysis, multivariable logistic regression, and survival analysis) as well as SAS certification is preferred. Knowledge of clinical trial design is desired. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. **For full consideration, your cover letter must address the the qualifications listed above. You may be a recent MS graduate, but you must be able to demonstrate at least one year of relevant experience. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications
