Position Summary

The Dir, Business Operations for the UNM Los Alamos campus directs the integrated administrative and operational support planning and management of a smaller academic branch campus of the University, to include business and fiscal management, human resources, information tech systems, physical plant/facilities management, and related auxiliary services. Plans, oversees, and coordinates capital and operating expenditures, budgeting, and fiscal systems, and provides leadership and direction in the cost-effective establishment of resources and administrative strategies, policies, and programs for the branch. Serves as a member of the branch senior administrative team.

  • Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University's influenza vaccination requirement.


Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.



Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

*Experience managing capital improvement projects;

*Experienced in budget development and oversight;

*Multi-department oversight experience in HR, IT, Purchasing, and Facilities.
