Requisition ID req29325 Working Title Nurse Home Visitor Position Grade 14 Position Summary The Center for Development and Disability (CDD), established in 1990, is New Mexico's University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service. These centers, authorized by the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act, build the capacities of states and communities to respond to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. The Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) seeks a compassionate and dedicated Bachelor's prepared Registered Nurse (RN) to join our program as a Nurse Home Visitor. This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based preventive services directly to women and families eligible for the NFP Program. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in community health, maternal/child health, or mental/behavioral health and will be deeply committed to enhancing family well-being through the NFP model. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related clinical field; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Additional Requirements Passing a background check with fingerprinting will be required for this position. Valid Drivers License is necessary as travel is required in the Albuquerque Metro area for home visits using a personal vehicle, mileage is reimbursed.
