Requisition ID req30121 Working Title Research Scientist 3 Position Grade 13 Position Summary Notice: Funding available through 110/01/2025; continuance beyond that date is subject to the Department's operational needs as outlined in UBPPM #3200, Employee Classifications, http://policy.unm.edu/university-policies/3000/3200.html The Division of the Center for Global Health, within the Department of Internal Medicine, is seeking a motivated and experienced research scientist to join Dr. Cassano's laboratory. Under the direct supervision and guidance of the Principal Investigator, the candidate will lead research on the relationship between lysosomal damage and stress granule formation. The candidate is expected to work independently, organize and present data, contribute to manuscript writing, and train new lab members. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications Experience in background in stress granule field.
