Position Summary
Performs laboratory aid duties required for maintaining a busy drosophila research lab www.neuraldiversity.org.
Job duties:
a. Prepare drosophila fly media.
b. Prepare grape juice plates.
c. Maintain fly stocks.
d. Prepare stock solutions.
e. Other duties as assigned.
Preferably pursuing an undergraduate degree in the life sciences and having an interest in basic research. Our lab will provide a supportive atmosphere to learn and perform science. Over the years, we will mentor you and help you in applying to graduate schools/summer programs and much more. All our undergrads who are motivated and committed to research have been successful in finding their dream job/programs. Saying that we prefer students who are in their freshmen or junior year of degree so that there is time to learn and do science and publish papers. Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
Basic knowledge of Biology and Chemistry. Must be passionate about learning and doing science and comfortable with multitasking, and must be dependable.
