Requisition ID req27651 Working Title Research Scientist 2 Position Grade 12 Position Summary The Division of Nephrology, within the Department of Internal Medicine, is seeking a full-time candidate who is a detail-oriented, results driven individual to join our team as a Research Scientist 2. Research Scientist II will assist with a variety of research projects within the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Nephrology. This position is responsible to work with providers in the coordination of patient participation in kidney disease research studies. This position plays a key role in patient safety and monitoring of protocol compliance. The Research Scientist II is responsible for the informed consent of the patient, scheduling of protocol-required appointments, and documentation of side effects and medications. This role works directly with the study PI to assure that the research studies are conducted per protocol expectations and regulations. See the Position Description for additional information. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications
