Qualifications EDUCATION Master's Degree from an accredited School of Social Work. EXPERIENCE Minimum of one field placement from an accredited School of Social Work. LICENSURE Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) from the State of Connecticut, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from the State of Rhode Island, or those holding licenses from other states, will need an 'endorsement' and meet the State of Connecticut or Rhode Island license requirements. SPECIAL SKILLS The Social Worker will possess the following special skills: empathy, active listening, critical thinking, strong organizational and computer skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with and advocate for patients and families. PHYSICAL DEMAND The Social Worker-LMSW/GF position is co-terminus with grant funding. Additional Information LMSW required. Must be a 2024 Sacred Heart School of Social Work graduate. Position is coterminous with funding 7/1/2024-6/30/2025 The Social Work Fellow will participate in the following trainings to provide a social history and forensic interview:
