Requisition ID req19543 Working Title HS Research Tech 2 Position Grade 09 Position Summary Under the general supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI), Dr. Ludmila Bakhireva, and Program Specialist, the HS Research Tech 2 will be involved in recruitment of research participants for the clinical studies conducted by the College of Pharmacy Substance Use Research and Education Center at UNM. Ongoing clinical studies focus primarily on pregnant women and children and require the incumbent to be comfortable working with vulnerable populations. The incumbent will work closely with prenatal care clinics to recruit patients for clinical studies and administer structured interviews for patients enrolled in the study. This position will require travel to off-site clinics in the greater Albuquerque area. Occasional travel to off-site clinics outside of the greater Albuquerque area may be required. The incumbent will also coordinate study-related procedures, including data entry and collection/processing of biological specimens. He/she/they will work closely with co-investigators, laboratory personnel, and hospital personnel. This position may require rotated weekend and evening coverage of research activities within a 40-hour work week. Duties and Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
