Requisition ID req30347 Working Title Research Scientist 2 Position Grade 12 Position Summary The New Mexico Sentencing Commission (NMSC), which is part of the Institute for Social Research at the University of New Mexico, is looking for qualified applicants for a Research Scientist II position. NMSC serves as a criminal and juvenile justice policy resource to the three branches of state government and interested citizens. Its mission is to provide impartial information, analysis, recommendations, and assistance from a coordinated cross- agency perspective with an emphasis on maintaining public safety and making the best use of our criminal and juvenile justice resources. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
