Position Summary

Other duties:

  • Conducts investigations for reports filed through the University's Compliance Hotline.
  • Researches and prepares periodic and ad hoc reports on
    general and specific compliance issues as required by management.
  • Reviews and collects data for legal or risk management
    analyses, studies, and monitoring related to organizational compliance;
    performs and/or participates in the performance of root-cause analysis.
  • May provide guidance and support to departments to conduct fact findings; may help departments to prepare interpretive reports based on findings and recommends appropriate solutions or actions.
  • May respond to requests from departments for compliance
    evaluations; coordinates with departments to ensure timely completion of indicated
    corrective actions.

Conditions of Employment

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.



Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience conducting investigations and preparing written investigation reports.
  • Thorough understanding of laws, regulations, and guidelines related to HR.
  • Familiar with Title IX.
  • Familiar with Clery Act
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience writing workplace investigation reports.
  • Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
