Organization: Southwest Preparatory Learning Center

Location: 10301 Candelaria Road NE Albuquerque NM 87112

An Off-Campus Work-Study Position - MUST have a Work-Study Award

The Southwest Preparatory Learning Center at 10301 Candelaria Rd NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico is looking for people who are child-oriented, responsible and dedicated to manage, supervise and tutor students in grades 4 through 8 under the direction of the licensed classroom teacher. The tutor will be responsible for groups of students during instruction of mathematics and/or language arts by the classroom teacher. This position is ideal for students interested in a career in education. The positions are Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 11:15am - 2:45pm.

Preferred Qualifications

The Tutor must have a positive attitude, a desire to work with young children, and serve as a role model to the young participants in the program.

Candidates must be able to pass a background check.
