Position Summary
The Law & Indigenous Peoples
Program and the Natural Resources & Environmental Law Program at the UNM
School of Law seek a Law Certificate Programs Coordinator. This position will
support and serve as the administrative lead for both certificate programs. Main
duties include: working with program directors and faculty to inform and
advise students on how to meet certificate requirements; staffing program
meetings; planning and implementing program events; developing and updating
web and print materials; administering program budgets; developing and
maintaining program mailing lists and communications.

Conditions of Employment
  • Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University's influenza vaccination requirement.


Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Interest
in areas of Indian Law/Tribal Courts/Community Tribal Development
- Knowledge of and/or interest in
natural resources and environmental issues
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
software
- Proficiency in calendaring software
such as Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written
communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
