Location

Wentworth Health Partners Cardiology offers expert care in prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of heart disease to enhance your overall health. We are a full-service practice offering a full range of cardiology services including, general and interventional cardiology, heart failure, interventional procedures, electrophysiology, device implants, anticoagulation management and more.

We are located at 19 Old Rollinsford Road in Dover, NH 03820. We also have offices located at 67 Corporate Drive, Portsmouth, NH 03801 and 3 Terrascape Parkway, Somersworth, NH 03878.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a per-diem Office Nurse to provide on-site support to our Cardiology team. We are open Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, so variable 8-hour shifts will be available within this range.

The responsibilities of this role will consist of primarily phone triage but also has some patient facing hands-on aspects as well. The Nurse will handle patient interactions via telephone, provide advice in accordance with clinical protocols, and coordinate proper disposition. Calls are related to patient concerns and education, appointments, pre and post procedures, inpatient admissions, prescription refills, and test results.

The ideal candidate profile is an experienced, adaptable Nurse who is confident in their clinical abilities and genuinely enjoys variety.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in NH required.
• BLS required prior to hire.
• Minimum of 1 year of LPN or RN experience, preferably in a community-based ambulatory setting preferred.
