Description This role focuses on using various imaging techniques and practices to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for operating diagnostic ultrasound equipment and scanning patients in all aspects of cardiac scanning, including M-Mode, 2-D, 3-D, Color, Doppler, Stress Exercise Testing, and TEE. This position is part of the 1199SEIU Bargaining Unit at Cooley Dickinson Hospital. This position reports to the Supervisor of the Echocardiography Department and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
