Assistant Milieu Manager

Description

* Assist Milieu manager and director to monitor the milieu on an ongoing basis in order to prevent crisis situations

* Assist Milieu manager and director to work closely with Director in providing direct services to students such as de-escalation, and anger management

* Assist Milieu manager and director to implement crisis intervention/ prevention strategies

* Assist Milieu manager and director to maintain Pathways' Incident Report Log

* Assist Milieu manager and director to in doing classroom observation as requested by teachers as part of behavior management

* Perform other duties as requested by Director including coverage for other CNS personnel


Qualifications

* BA or BS preferred, experience working with children and/or adolescents, strong skillset for working with children and adolescents with challenging behavior
