GENERAL SUMMARY/OVERVIEW STATEMENT: A full-time research technician position is immediately available in the laboratory of Dr. Ryan Corcoran at Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center. The Corcoran lab is involved in investigating new and effective therapies for gastrointestinal cancers, mainly colorectal, pancreatic and liver cancers. Our group is interested in elucidating novel mechanisms of resistance to targeted cancer therapeutics such as kinase inhibitors or immune checkpoint inhibitors (Ryan MB et al. Cell Reports 2022, Tian J et al. Nature Medicine 2023, Fece de la Cruz F et al. Cancer Discovery 2024, Tanaka N et al. Cancer Discovery 2024). We seek a highly motivated individual with a strong interest in pursuing a future academic career in science or medicine.
