Overview Mass General Brigham Digital, in partnership with the Office of the Chief Medical Officer (OCMO), is seeking an experienced Data Engineer who has a passion for healthcare data and will thrive as a member of an experienced, high performing and highly motivated team. This person will have a desire to learn and a flexibility to adjust to the fast-changing analytic and reporting demands of our system. The best candidate has solid analytical and communication skills, and experience working with health care data. Reporting to the Data Engineering Manager, the Data Engineer will be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing new clinical data products. The areas of focus include Quality, Safety, Health Equity, Community Health, Patient Experience, Provider Wellbeing, Credentialing, and Pharmacy and Formulary. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to define and achieve strategic objectives. They will be responsible for developing the Quality Data Hub within our cloud-based data warehouse. They will collaborate closely with solutions architects, analytics engineers, and visualization developers to understand requirements, establish robust change management practices, and implement rigorous quality assurance measures. Additionally, the role involves proactive performance monitoring, troubleshooting data issues, and adhering to MGB Digital's standards and practices. Principal Duties and Responsibilities
