Dental Hygienist - Part-Time

Our client in Rockford, IL is seeking a part-time registered dental hygienist to work 2 days per week (Thursdays permanently then flexible on the other day). If you are looking for an established practice with a flexible schedule, let's set up a call to discuss.

Key Responsibilities:

• Possess sharp clinical skills including but not limited to capturing diagnostic x-rays, evaluating/treating periodontal disease, placing sealants, and providing options on preventative solutions for caries prevention and management.
• Removing plaque and calculus by scaling and polishing teeth
• Perform oral cancer screenings.
• Ability to co-treatment plan with DDS utilizing available technology.
• Providing dental health education about tooth and gum care
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with other dental professionals in the practice to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Shift:

• Thursdays 9 am - 6 pm
• Flexible for one more day per week
  
  • Monday: 9 am - 6 pm
  • Tuesday: 9 am - 5 pm
  • Wednesday: Closed
  • Friday: 9 am - 2 pm
  • Every other Saturday: 8 am - 12 pm
  
  

Requirements:

• Registered Dental Hygienist License in IL
• Anesthesia Certification
• CPR
• 1 year of experience is preferred but will consider a new graduate.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working with computer technology.
• Passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
