Join us as a Operations Coordinator in our Moorpark, CA Facility.

In this role, you will be supporting team members on the line. Ensure that the line is running at constant pace. Ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost control.

Location Description:

At Pentair we've revolutionized the pool industry with innovative and high-performance pool pumps, filters, heaters, cleaners, lights, automation systems and more. We have an opening for a Production Coordinator for our Injection Molding Department at our Moorpark, CA facility. Only offices are air conditioned, industrial ceiling fans inside warehouse.

More details about the opportunity:

• Monitor line for staffing, equipment function, and safe work environment.

• Verify that the team members are following standard processes & meeting expected rates of production.

• Do repairs in and offline.

• Provide training, classes, tools, and skills for team members to do their jobs more efficiently and effectively. Trains new team members on processes up to and including equipment function, Pentair processes, safety training.

• Responsible for implementation of Lean principles in his/her department(s) including audits, standard work review, time studies, and 5S standardization.

• Conduct ergonomic exercises at the start of shift. Watch for and identify safety and ergonomic issues, get them fixed quickly and/or suggest solutions.

• Fill in when team members must leave the line.

• Assign work when the line is down for an extended period of time.

Position Hours/Shift:

• 3rd Shift 10:00 PM - 6:40 AM

• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

• In order to accommodate the needs of our business, it may be necessary to change individual work schedules on either a short-term or long-term basis.

Physical Requirements:

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to create a highly effective team environment.

• PC literacy: Windows, Word, Excel

• Bilingual (English & Spanish) required.

• High School or Equivalent (minimum)

• 1-2 years' experience in a lead manufacturing role

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist at the waist.

• Must be able to lift-up to 30 pounds from floor to waist.
