Join us as an Automation Technician in our Hanover Park facility.

You will be installing and performing maintenance automation and robotic equipment and working with both maintenance and engineering with new projects and repair equipment.

• The anticipated hourly pay for this role is: $35.00 plus, DOE. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be determined by considering demonstrable level of experience, skills, knowledge, and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.

More details about the opportunity:

• Working and adapting to new automation and robotic equipment coming in and being installed within the facility.
• Support manufacturing production lines with technical expertise to ensure operations achieves business objectives.
• Trouble shooting various equipment such as robotics, conveyors, coaters, labelers, and presses. There is a lot of automation and robotics within this facility.
• Working with both the maintenance and engineering teams to ensure proper installation and running of robotics and automation equipment.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and Participate in Continuous Improvement activities, as well as Gemba walks and Kaizen circles.
• Growth potential and learning new skills sets as new equipment is brought in for the manufacturing process

Required Qualifications:

• Must be able to do electrical up to 480 and read electrical schematics
• Must have hydraulic experience up to 1000 lbs pressure
• Must have exposure to PLC's
• Must have automation and robotic experience in maintenance
• Installation of equipment is preferred
• Must know how to do lock out tag out

Position hours/shifts (Overtime Available!):

• 1st shift: 6am to 2pm
• 3rd shift: 10pm to 6am

Physical Requirements:

Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 50lbs. Steel toed shoes are required on the distribution floor.
