We have an opportunity for an Enterprise Application Architect (Salesforce) to join our Global IT Enterprise Applications team in Golden Valley, MN. Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Business Applications, you will design, develop, and lead solutions on the Salesforce.com platform and ensure its seamless integration with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. You will partner with business stakeholders and executives to understand their objectives, priorities, and challenges, and translate them into a technical vision and architecture that spans Salesforce.com and ERP functionalities.

** This is a permanent, direct-hire position. You will work a hybrid work schedule with 3 days/week on-site in Golden Valley, MN. ** #LI-Hybrid

You will:

  • Conduct research into the current use of Salesforce.com and ERP systems within the company, producing a report of findings with recommended steps and a roadmap for integrated solutions.
  • Design and document high-level and detailed solution architectures that meet internal clients' requirements, align with their business goals, and ensure seamless integration between Salesforce and ERP systems.
  • Lead the implementation of the solution architecture, ensuring quality, scalability, performance, security, compliance, and efficient data flow between systems.
  • Communicate effectively with internal clients, project managers, developers, testers, specialists, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Salesforce.com and ERP integration professionals on the team.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the Salesforce.com ecosystem and ERP integration strategies.
  • Be responsible for solution governance, managing technical debt, and ensuring high reuse of common features across both platforms.
  • Pursue and maintain professional certification for key technologies, domain capabilities, and integration methodologies.

Key Qualifications:

  • Have earned a bachelor's (B.A. or B.S.) degree.
  • Have 10+ years of functional experience with at least 2+ years of experience architecting Salesforce in an enterprise setting with a strong focus on integrating Salesforce.com with ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4 HANA.
  • Have 3+ years of Salesforce development experience.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and their integration points with Salesforce.com. Experience with SAP S/4HANA a plus.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce.com with ERP systems using APIs, web services, middleware, ETL tools, and other integration technologies.
  • Experience using agile methodologies and tools to manage projects and applying best practices for integration architecture.
  • Strong understanding of data migration, synchronization, and data quality management between Salesforce and ERP systems.
  • Salesforce Solution Architect and/or B2B Solution Architect certifications a plus.
