Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Specialist

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Position responsibilities include the clinical care of outpatients and inpatient consultation; involvement in medical student, resident, and fellow education; and participation in research. An interest in clinical research or another pathway for academic career advancement is encouraged.

A minimum of two years of gynecologic surgery experience is preferred with an area of expertise in robotic assisted surgery and/or chronic pelvic pain. The candidate must have the ability to collaboratively diagnose and treat a wide variety of gynecologic conditions and also know their limits. Must be proficient in performing hysterectomies and myomectomies for benign conditions, open and minimally invasive.

Applicants must be board-certified or board-eligible. Salary and academic appointment will be commensurate with achievements and experience.
