Evanston, IllinoisAdd to Favorite Jobs Email this Job Department: Vice Pres Student Affairs Job Summary: The Project Coordinator will report to the Assistant Vice President and Chief of Staff (AVP/Cos) and be a part of the staffing for the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs (VPSA). This position will provide primary administrative support to the AVP/CoS and will work to support the office of the VPSA team, particularly the AVP/CoS' direct reports. The Project Coordinator will serve as office coverage backups for one another. The Project Coordinator will provide support for various divisional initiatives which may include creating letters, reports, charts, graphs, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, and/or presentation software; basic bookkeeping; screening calls and visitors; preparing agendas and making arrangements including travel, etc. for meetings and special events; and/or managing supervisor's calendar. This role administers operational, financial, and business functions in support of the area/unit's mission and in coordination with central offices such as HR, Budget, Facilities, IT, and Provost. Implements existing policy and ensures the effective, compliant, and efficient completion of daily administrative operations. May represent business area on internal and/or external administrative affairs by exchanging information. This role will serve as a liaison to Student Affairs Marketing (SAM), and Student Affairs Administration and Finance (SAAF) and assist in managing the workflow from the Office of the VPSA to SAM and SAAF. This role requires excellent communication skills to collaborate with students, families, staff, and faculty members regarding initiatives and programs. This work of the Project Coordinator will contribute to the mission of student affairs which is to educate students, engage the community, and enrich the Northwestern experience. Occasionally (approximately once per month), this role will be expected to work weekends and evenings for certain events. Workplace Flexibility: This position is eligible to work remotely up to 2 days per week. Pay: The salary range for the Project Coordinator position is $60,000 to $62,730 annually, depending on experience, skills, and internal equity. Principal Accountabilities: (35%) Administration
