Chicago, IllinoisAdd to Favorite Jobs Email this Job Department: MED-Psych & Behavioral Science The Health Disparities & Public Policy program investigates health disparities in traditionally underserved populations. For the past 30 years, we have been conducting the Northwestern Juvenile Project, a longitudinal study of the health needs and outcomes of 1,829 youth involved with the justice system (now median age 43). We are also conducting an intergenerational phase of this study - Next Generation - that investigates individual, interpersonal, and neighborhood factors that promote resilience in children. The Data Assistant will: review and process incoming interview and administrative data for coherence, missing data, coding errors, and logical inconsistencies, and codes open-ended questions. Ensure submission and maintenance of accurate, timely, complete, and reliable data and reports by implementing data management and quality assurance procedures; provide feedback to interviewers and study team members on systematic data errors or problems; and; document revisions in codebooks and manuals. Target hiring range for this position will be between $19.89 to $27.97 per hour. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
